GIPHY

Spent the last 7 years at GIPHY designing how the internet laughs, cries, and screams all in perfect 3-second loops.

Through multiple Webby Awards and two aquisitions, I led the design of GIPHY’s Website and Mobile Apps that became the go-to home for creativity and culture online. GIPHY is the platform that Animates the Internet, an infinite catalogue of pop culture, memes, digital art, and cute animals makes GIPHY the largest search engine for GIFs and Stickers in the world. Beyond our core products, I strategized and designed new projects like GIPHY Arcade, GIPHY Stickers, GIPHY’s Developer Center, & more, all while making sure our extensions were everywhere people needed them — from Instagram, Facebook & X, to Slack, Discord, & Tinder. Anywhere you have a conversation, GIPHY is right there with you. 

GIPHY was aquired by Meta in 2020 and then by Shutterstock in 2024, where I helped launch GIPHY Ads, which brought in $10M+ in its first year.
